Arapaima Gigas: The Amazonian Giant
Meet the Arapaima Gigas, one of the largest freshwater fish in the wild, native to the Amazon Basin. Also known as the Pirarucu in South America, this fish is a rare sight in the monster fish keeping hobby. Our juveniles are tank-raised, making them more tolerant of water conditions compared to those directly imported from the Amazon. With a CITES permit on hand, we are approved for export to states where Arapaima is not banned. Current size is around 4" - 5".
