Silver Arowana Fry - 'Osteoglossum bicirrhosum'
Hard to find baby Silver Arowanas. They are much hardier compared to the Silver Arowana Fry with the egg yolk as the yolk has been completed absorbed, making them easier to grow out as they aren't as sensitive.
The Silver Arowana is by far the most popular Arowana species in the monster fish keeping hobby. The Silver Arowana (also spelled as Arahuana) is indigenous to the South American region, found in the Amazon River Basin. These natural predatory fish are known to eat practically any prey it can fit into its large mouth, including baby monkeys if the opportunity arises. In nature, they are known to grow to 4+ feet long. A tight, secure cover is required as the Silver Arowana is known to jump even through the smallest of openings.
All of our Silver Arowanas have been trained to eat dry food such as Hikari Food Sticks or Carnivore Pellets and live blackworms.
Size is around 2-3 inches.
